Manifest & Align: Setting Intentions for Fall
Your September Manifestation Toolkit for Self-Love & Letting Go!
This summer was beautiful, but also very busy.
We travelled to Denver for a concert with friends, explored new places, and soaked in the celebration of our 20-year anniversary (yes, twenty years wow).
There was joy, laughter, a few too many glasses of wine here and there, moments of gratitude, and, if I’m honest, a little bit of that summer chaos that leaves you both with a full cup, but frazzled at the same time.
Because that’s the thing about summer: it’s expansive, it’s fun, it’s… but it can also throw you out of routine (which I like). Overspending, some overthinking. I feel like I arrived at September with a long list of things I needed to do and my own nervous system begging for a reset… LOL.
And September, if you choose it, offers exactly that.
This is the month of transition. The weather cools, the light changes, and there’s this collective sigh as everyone shifts from “BBQs and busy” into “back to school.” It’s not just a new season; it’s a chance to realign with the version of you who you want to be calm, confident, and intentional.
That’s what this blog is about.
So I am sharing my September Manifestation Toolkit, not in a fluffy, cringe quote way, but in a grounded way. I am blending daily affirmations, somatic practices, and subconscious alignment so that when you look back on this month, you’ll feel proud of what you’ve shifted.
Why September Is Manifestation Gold
Let’s be real: January gets all the hype for “fresh starts.” But energetically? September is a lot more powerful.
Think about it:
Nature shifts. Leaves change, days get shorter, temperatures drop. The environment literally lets go… and we climb back into our Ugg boots, cozy sweaters and Pumpkin Lattes - unless you are me!. Who the heck invented those!?
Our nervous systems crave rhythm. After the chaos of summer holidays, barbecues, and social calendars, September feels like returning to structure and as humans, structure feels safe to us.
The collective energy is different. Kids go back to school, we get back into routines of our busy lives. Whether you’re a parent or not, you feel the momentum of “reset” in the air once September hits.
Psychologically, humans love “familiarity.” They’re those dates that trick our brains into fresh-start energy: birthdays, Mondays, new seasons. September is one giant landmark, so if you ride that wave consciously, you can create massive shifts without forcing it. I want to talk about sabotage as this has become a huge focus for me in my business.
Here’s the truth most women don’t realize:
You don’t sabotage because you’re unmotivated. You sabotage because your body doesn’t feel safe
Summer’s overspending? Your body thought it was protecting you from scarcity.
That procrastination? It was your nervous system saying, “Not safe to be seen right now.”
That glass (or three) of wine? Just your body trying to regulate to safety and maybe even escape if you are super busy.
When you understand that sabotage = safety mechanism, it all becomes less about shaming yourself and more about rewiring those patterns. You’re not fixing yourself, it’s all about choosing new alignment for your body, mind and soul.
Your 5-Day Manifestation Toolkit
I could give you 30 affirmations and rituals here, but let’s be honest: nobody sticks to that many. What I want for you is easy, not overwhelm. So we’re going to focus on 5 powerful days. You can repeat them, rotate them, or use them whenever you feel yourself slipping back into old cycles.
Each day comes with:
An affirmation (to rewire your subconscious).
A ritual (to embody it in your body).
A reframe (to shift your perspective).
Day 1: Release the Weight
Summer guilt is sneaky. You feel bad about what didn’t do (the workouts skipped, the ease of not doing…). You feel bad about what you did do (the wine, the procrastination).
Here’s the reframe: guilt doesn’t get to run the show this season.
Ritual: Write down 3 things you feel guilty about from summer. Next to each, write: “I forgive myself. I let it go.”Then rip the paper up. Burn it if you’re feeling witchy. The act of destruction signals to your subconscious that you’re no longer carrying it.
When you let go of guilt, you create space for alignment.
Day 2: Anchor into Calm
September energy can swing two ways: grounded and productive, or anxious and chaos. Which way you lean depends on your nervous system.
Calm should never be seen as a luxury; it should always be the foundation for clarity.
Somatic Exercise: Hand on chest. Inhale for 4, exhale for 6. Say your affirmation while you breathe. This pairs calm with safety and your body starts to crave it.
Reframe: Productivity isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing from a place of regulation. When your body feels safe, whatever you want you can call in with ease.
Day 3: Money, but Make It Safe
Money is one of the biggest triggers. Summer spending meets fall responsibilities and… hello stress. But here’s the thing: money flows to safety, not shame.
Ritual: Open your bank account. Instead of spiralling, take a breath and say: “Money feels safe.” Your goal isn’t to fix the number on the screen; it’s to show your nervous system that looking at money doesn’t have to trigger panic.
Quantum Trick: Visualise money as a friend. It shows up when you invite it. It hangs around when it feels appreciated. It doesn’t dislike you; it wants to stay and grow.
Day 4: End the Sabotage Cycle
Scrolling, snacking, bingeing, procrastinating, we call it sabotage, but really, it’s self-protection. The body found a temporary way to regulate. The problem? It keeps you stuck.
Interrupt Ritual: When you feel the urge to sabotage, pause. Plant your feet. Press your palms together. Whisper your affirmation. You’ve just given your body a new “safety code”: one that doesn’t involve derailing your goals.
Reframe: Sabotage isn’t proof you failed. It’s proof your body is brilliant at survival. But you’re teaching it how to get out of that.
Day 5: Call in Joy & Abundance
Manifestation isn’t about forcing or begging. It’s about finding happy in the little things and letting that frequency grow outward.
Ritual: Before bed, write down 3 small joys from the day: crunchy leaves, the perfect coffee, a walk with your pupster. The brain rewires to seek what you focus on. Soon, happiness isn’t something you “call in”, it’s your default setting.
Future Pace: Picture October 1st. You look back at September and realize: the abundance wasn’t just in your bank account it was in how you felt every day.
Bonus: Affirmations Bank
At the end of this post, I’ve packed in a list of extra affirmations for you to play with. These cover joy, self-love, money, and nervous system safety. Think of them as mix-and-match mantras. Use the ones that make your body feel good.
How to Make Em Stick
Affirmations alone don’t change your life. It’s not about saying words into the mirror with a fake smile while your nervous system is screaming “danger.”It’s about pairing affirmations with embodiment.
Say them while you breathe.
Say them while moving (walking, dancing, grounding).
Stick them on your mirror where you’ll see them first thing.
Record yourself saying them and listen before bed.
Why? Because repetition + emotion = subconscious rewiring. And when you are ready to go deeper, that’s when I recommend booking a deeper session with me!
This isn’t about doing more. It’s about aligning more.
September is giving you the gift of rhythm, of release, of re-centering. When you use affirmations and somatic practices together, you’re not just setting intentions; you’re building a nervous system that can actually hold them.
So this month, let your mantra be: less forcing, more aligning.
And if you’re ready to go deeper and clear the subconscious sabotage patterns that affirmations can’t touch alone, that’s where my sessions come in. This is the work I love: helping high-functioning women release sabotage and actually feel safe stepping into their next level in life and business.
DM me the word ALIGN and let’s chat about what this could look like for you.
